Hello & Welcome! My name is Raven & I am, among many other things, a tarot reader. I'm an ethical intuitive reader, & I'm here to offer you an opportunity to learn about yourself & gain clarity through tarot readings & other services I will soon provide. I generally do these readings either over the phone or video, but readings can also be done through email or even over snail mail (though that would be truly impractical for both parties).

In case you're unfamiliar with tarot, here's some brief information: A tarot card deck is (generally) 78 cards (oracle decks aren't bound by this rule): 22 Major Arcana & 56 Minor Arcana. The Majors are numbered 0-21 (usually in roman numerals), & the Minors are numbered Ace-Ten (like in playing cards) + Page, Knight, Queen, & King (or some variation thereof). The Minor Arcana each fall into one of four suits: Wands (Fire), Cups (Water), Swords (Air), & Pentacles (Earth). A tarot reading consists of setting inentions by both reader & querent (which is you), deciding what question, or series of questions on the same topic, the querent wants to ask, & then "laying out" the cards so that you lay at least one card per "question" or card position. The reader then interprets the cards, both individually & as a whole, for the querent, using the querent's own insights & impressions along the way. Tarot cards have been around for more than half a milennia, & at least the last 150 years (roughly) in their current form.

The way a reader interprets the cards is based on a multitude of things: numerology, suit meanings, individual card symbology & semiotics, the reader's intuition, the querent's intuition, & more. Some readers prefer to use traditional layouts; others, like me, make up our own layouts based on the topic at hand & the number of questions. With custom layouts, you get a truly personalized reading. Tarot is a way to bypass consciousness & the ego, & get directly to your Higher Self & the Divine (if you believe in that sort of thing). This gives you the opportunity to gain many perspectives on the issue(s) at hand.

As far as the other services I am offering, as well as those I intend to eventually offer (see Services), they will all likely require at least a little eplanation. So we'll take each one at a time:

Tarot Constellations are something invented by Mary Greer, a famous tarot master. They are based on birthdays & other dates, & can help you understand some of your life's themes.

Numerology, based on birthdays & other dates, looks at the meanings of numbers. I most often use the numerology Dan Millman created. His method uses birthdays to look at themes & challenges in your life.

Shadow Work has to do with Jung's concept of the shadow self: the parts of ourself we try to hide, even from ourselves, — for examply, feelings we are shamed by — & we tend to perceive these qualities as belonging to others rather than to ourselves. We need to know & accept everything about ourselves that we don't like — our shadows are our other halves. See Wikapedia for more information.

Tarot + is a program I'm working on developing, that will include all the aforementioned things plus astrology, power/spirit animals, Jungian Archetypes, & more. I am devising a tailored program that will marry all these with tarot as a foundation. More to come...

HSP/Empath Program is the other project I'm devising. For those ofg us who are HSPs (Highly Sensitive People) &/or Empaths (those who experience things that others experience), life can be difficult & harsh. We are constantly bombarded by information from those around us, & tend to be so self-critical. I'm devising a program that can be tailored to each individual & would help those like me see their empathy & sensitivity as more gifts than curses. More to come...
